“ We visit Perthshire three or four times a year, and stay close to Meigle. Every holiday includes at least one visit to The Joinery. There are other places to eat in the area, but none are as good as here. Wonderful, fresh sandwiches; great selection of fillings and always something new on the ‘specials board’ to be savoured. Lovely staff, very welcoming and helpful. It’s a gem of a place and I thoroughly recommend it. Will be back before we leave on Friday ”
“ One of the best Ploughmans we ever had. And the scones... oh boy. We will be back. The only negative is it's not dog friendly. It was raining so we couldn't sit outside, but didn't stop us. ”
“ Lovely coffee/lunch cafe. We were up for a week and came 3 days as lovely staff, great service and nice food. Lovely place to visit, didn't have the scones but they looked amazing and saw plenty order them. ”
“ Gorgeous little coffee shop, lovely setting - the fire and sofas make for all the cosy vibes. Great prices, tasty fresh food and bakes. Have been many times now. It’s fab, highly recommend ”
“ Best cafe in the area by far. The homemade soups are always delicious and the sandwiches here never disappoint - freshly made and beautifully presented, they hit the spot every time. The staff are a happy lot and clearly enjoy their work which makes for a really lovely atmosphere. Overall a friendly, unpretentious, well priced cafe with a surprisingly extensive menu. Probably a good idea to book a table, especially at lunchtime. ”
“ We skipped our hotel breakfast to come here instead and were so pleasantly surprised. A fabulous cafe, cosy and welcoming. Staff are lovely. Looks like it is a very popular spot for locals. Our cheese scones were incredible. Absolutely massive and full of flavour. Great coffees too. A must stop if you're in this part of Scotland ”
“ Lovely spacious place to grab some quick lunch or a coffee and a delicious homemade cake!
